Hi, my name is Tim Neufeld and I am a member of the undergraduate faculty at Fresno Pacific University, Fresno, CA. Since 1999 I have been teaching in the biblical studies division and I'm currently the chair of the division and program director for our ministry major. I teach courses in youth ministry, Christian leadership, worship ministry, pastoral ministry, and other practical theology classes. Two of my favorite classes to teach are Creative Communication in Ministry and Theology, Culture and U2. I have a MDiv in family ministry and a DMin in church leadership.
Prior to teaching at FPU I was a pastor for fifteen years. I worked with Young Life, directed a summer camp for nine years, and served as a full-time youth pastor.
I love leading worship, preaching, teaching Sunday school and speaking at camps. I enjoy playing several instruments including guitar, mandolin and hurdy gurdy. Some of my favorite activities are reading, gazing at the heavens through my backyard telescope, flying a hull on my catamaran and doing anything in the mountains.
I also write for www.atU2.com, a premier fansite for all things U2. At this site I discuss U2's influence on culture and theological integration, as well as provide analysis of songs and live performances.
I invite you to follow me...
I have been married to Tracy since 1995 and have two very energetic boys.
