this looks great - can't wait to hear more about it.

Tim, the first of your questions for reader input is up today on the U2 Sermons blog. I've separated them out for individual posts as we discussed. Hope we get some answers that are useful to you as you work on the course.

I would love to see the syllabus when you are done!

Great idea!

Cheers,

Terry and Bryan, thanks for the enthusiastic support of this class. I plan on posting during the course so please keep checking in and responding. I love each of your blogs and hope that we can continue a dialogue in the future.

If you have a chance check out the question I am asking related to the course at http://u2sermons.blogspot.com/ — I need some people to respond. I don’t know if you are familiar with the work Beth has been doing here but it’s wonderful.

Peace my friends,
Tim

I'm looking forward to your regular updates on the course. How can I take/audit this course online? Via this site?

Adam, Thanks for asking about the course I'm teaching. I saw your blog and love it! You're the kind of person I would like to partner with in this classroom journey.

Unfortunately this won't be an online course. Please check back every now-and-then and I'll try to post some of the material I'm using. I'll post the syllabus in the next couple of weeks; that will give quite a few details.

Keep in touch!

Tim

U2: Rock 'n' Roll to Change the World

From its beginning in 1976, U2 has consistently interacted with its environment, both influencing and being influenced by the world around. Giving as much attention to social, political and spiritual issues as it does musical creativity, this Irish quartet provides a unique case study in the intersection of artistic expression and cultural engagement.
