Feeling your pain.

I feel the depth of the grief you express here. You have articulated it clearly and thoughtfully. I hear similar sentiments from so many back on campus these days. I am truly sorry for everyone. One former colleague who has been on campus for several decades told me the other day that morale "has never been lower." I agree that naming the loss that's been experienced is important at a time like this. I pray that the university's theological heritage will be a resource to help guide it through this difficult season.

I agree with your assessment here, Tim, and share the hope you express. Thanks for stepping into a leadership role in navigating these difficult waters.

From its beginning in 1976, U2 has consistently interacted with its environment, both influencing and being influenced by the world around. Giving as much attention to social, political and spiritual issues as it does musical creativity, this Irish quartet provides a unique case study in the intersection of artistic expression and cultural engagement.
